Dear Mr. Chapple,

I present to you the almighty Peanut. (enclosed)

The peanut, which has also been known as the goober, guinea seed, ground pea, pinda, ground nut and monkey nut, is not a nut at all, but is actually a legume. Believe it or not, records indicate the good ole peanut has been around for 3500 years or so. Its original home is thought to be on the lower eastern slopes of the Andes in what is now Brazil. The peanut traveled with Portuguese traders from Brazil to Europe and Africa. From Africa they traveled by ship to the Americas where they were planted throughout the south.

But enough about the peanut already, this is not the thrust of my letter today.

I received my Winter BCAE catalog in the mail yesterday and was surprised to see that my class, "Pornigami for Singles," was not listed. How are people going to sign up for my class if it's not in the catalog? I thought we worked this out already.

As I've told you previously, after the Battle of Bai Thong my grandfather found himself in a prisoner of war camp. It was during this time that he learned the ancient oriental art of folding tiny pieces of paper into delicate, beautiful, naughty shapes. I'll never forget the day that I completed my first pornigami piece under my grandfather's guidance. It is the mastery of these skills that I wish to pass on in my Pornigami class. I am willing to change the name of the class to "Tantric Origami 101." Are you single? Would you like to sign up for my class? Come for the paper, stay for the fun! Maybe you'll meet that someone special while folding a tiny paper buttocks.

Regardless, I was very surprised to find my class not listed in light of our previous discussions. Please write me as soon as possible and let me know the status of my class. It need to cross this off my list.

Regards,

Rudy Schumann
