Town of Los Gatos
110 East Main Street
P.O. Box 949
Los Gatos, CA 95031

Dear Mr. Pirzynski,

I've done a lot of reading. Reading is pretty cool. Oftentimes I read about your town, Los Gatos. Los Gatos sounds like a nice place. In spanish it means, "the gates."

Starting in 2001 I noticed that your town suddenly started being referred to as "Los Gatos (pop 28951)" I can assume that this means only one thing. I am excitedly writing to you to verify this.

2001, the year that you decided to change your town name, is the very same year that my father broke free from his unjust imprisonment for supposed war crimes during the battle of Bai Thong.

My pop's inmate number was 28951!!

Is my father living in Los Gatos now? What is he doing there? Have you met with him? How is his health? Does he own a dog? Is Vinny with him? Are the people of Los Gatos simpatico with him? (in spanish simpatico means, "seasoning") I just have so many questions.

I'm going to jump the gun and thank you and the people of Los Gatos for taking my father in and treating him as one of your own. Was it your personal idea to rename your town after him in a way that would not alert the authorities to his whereabouts? Brilliant!

Please write me back as soon as you can and let me know if my father is in fact living in your town, and if you so, when can I come see him? I will need to start making travel arrangements immediately.

Thank you again. I look forward to hearing from you soon.

Regards,

Rudy Schumann
