Hello! How are ewe?

Thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I am currently writing a new sitcom for NBC which is near completion. It is a show about ewes and the relationships and madcap antics that take place on a farm in the midwest.

Paul Reiser will not be a main character in this new show although he may make an occassional guest appearance as a sheep herder simply for ratings. (You understand.) Actually one of the ewes on the show is called Paula. She is the surly ewe. There's Samantha who attends the Ewe-niversity. She is the snobby ewe. There's also Grandpa, Betty, Lil' Jimmy..... well, I don't want to give away too much about the show. You can be assured that this is a show that will make you laugh while at the same time tackle serious life issues. (pregnancy, sheer pressure, trolley trips, etc) I ran a mock psuedo pilot of the show in my hometown and the response was very strong. No one touched the clam dip though.

I am writing to you today because I want to call my show "Mad About Ewe". That's right! The lawyers told me I had to clear this with your store first. So what do you think? Can I call my show "Mad About Ewe"? Please? Please don't make me call it "All About Ewe" or "Rewety Tewety Fresh 'N Frewety". If the show makes it big (fingers crossed) I think this could be very beneficial for your store.

This is the last hurdle I feel I have to clear before sending the idea to NBC. Thank you for writing back to me and letting me know if I can use "Mad About Ewe" as the name for my new show. Please help me fulfill my life long dream of seeing this show come to life. (I think now I know what the creators of Alf must have felt like.) I very eagerly await your reply. And again, thank you. If I am ever in your area I will come to your store and buy many wool items.

Ewe-phorically,

Rudy Schumann
